The life-sized Snakes and Ladders board was finished, with the weather holding out. The paint dried, and it was ready to play on. These photos are from the early morning of May 13th.
On May 12th, Parkview community members returned to the hall parking lot to build the life-sized Snakes and Ladders board again. The rain had created a beautiful rainbow background.
Community members started to create a life-sized Snakes and Ladders game in the parking lot of the Parkview hall on May 11th. Artist Lance Cardinal came by to help. Unfortunately, a sudden downpour that evening washed much of it away.
In late May of 2020, a Parkview mom organized a car parade to mark her son’s high school graduation. Many students took part, mostly from Archbishop MacDonald. The parade started in Laurier Heights, then went through Parkview and ended in Crestwood.
On August 22, 2020, the Edmonton Arts Council’s Festival in a Box made its way through Parkview and Crestwood.
