In late May of 2020, a Parkview mom organized a car parade to mark her son’s high school graduation. Many students took part, mostly from Archbishop MacDonald. The parade started in Laurier Heights, then went through Parkview and ended in Crestwood.
On August 22, 2020, the Edmonton Arts Council’s Festival in a Box made its way through Parkview and Crestwood.
The wonder of nature is all around us, even in the urban setting of Edmonton’s west end.
I have a macro lens for my iPhone and am trying to capture colours and textures at a very close distance.
Natural beauty of colours in alleys and yards, as well as the skylines visible from Valleyview and St. George’s Crescent.
Images from the beginning days of the pandemic, just shortly after the first lockdown.
I only recently learned of this incredible mural, a Canada 150 project, in nearby Rio Terrace.
