In late May of 2020, a Parkview mom organized a car parade to mark her son’s high school graduation. Many students took part, mostly from Archbishop MacDonald. The parade started in Laurier Heights, then went through Parkview and ended in Crestwood.
I only recently learned of this incredible mural, a Canada 150 project, in nearby Rio Terrace.
A creative person in Laurier Heights builds a colourful snow dragon every winter. This year was no exception.
A chalk and tempera paint Monopoly board in the Crestwood neighbourhood last April brightened the early days of the pandemic.
