The young artists of Parkview have been at it again!
The life-sized Snakes and Ladders board was finished, with the weather holding out. The paint dried, and it was ready to play on. These photos are from the early morning of May 13th.
On May 12th, Parkview community members returned to the hall parking lot to build the life-sized Snakes and Ladders board again. The rain had created a beautiful rainbow background.
Community members started to create a life-sized Snakes and Ladders game in the parking lot of the Parkview hall on May 11th. Artist Lance Cardinal came by to help. Unfortunately, a sudden downpour that evening washed much of it away.
It was painted over shortly after this was taken.
I only recently learned of this incredible mural, a Canada 150 project, in nearby Rio Terrace.
